Reassurance calls are FREE and available to any Martinsville, Henry County, Franklin County or Patrick County resident. Our volunteers will make daily scheduled calls for:

• Medication reminders

• Safety checks

• Friendly, social contact

A daily call from a CONTACT volunteer can:

• Ease the fear of not being found in case of serious illness, injury or death.

• Increase physical safety

• Provide social interaction

• Give peace of mind

• Increase self-sufficiency

• Delay or eliminate the need for group home, assisted living, or nursing home care

• Provide therapeutic listening to ease depression

• Help connect you with other needed human services
